Obituary.

Mr Horace Frederick Muffett, of Thames Road, Grantham, has died in Grantham Hospital. He was 84.

He was born in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire, the son of Arthur and Louise Muffett.

He is survived by his brother Bernard Muffett and sisters Ada Grainger and Doreen Gathercole.

Mr Muffett spent his working life on farms across Lincolnshire. He worked in Folkingham for around 20 years.

His interests included bingo and mending cars and other items.

The funeral service was held at St Anne’s Church, Grantham, conducted by the Rev Janet Rodgers. Burial followed in Grantham cemetery.

Family mourners included: David Muffett, Deborah Panks, Shaun Muffett, Tracy Muffett, Jake Muffett, Katie Muffett, Rebecca Panks, Laura Muffett, Matthew Muffett, Kieran Dean, Ashleigh Dean, and Sy Atkinson.

Other mourners included: Janet and Jim Butterworth, Kathy Francis, Ed Mears, Alan and Anne Cooper, Susan Harrison, Emma and Alexa Harrison, Mark Harrison, Barbara Dunthorne, Mary Savage, George Long, Mr and Mrs R. Arnold, Tommy Napier, Janet Thornton, Gill Hoyle, Tony Evans, Tony Clifton, Joyce Clifton, Mandy Cragg, Darren Fox, and Nicola Fox.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.

Donations were received for Dementia UK.
