Mr Owen Coyle, of Dysart Road, Grantham, has died at home. He was 90.
Born in Hamilton, Scotland, he moved to Grantham in 1949 to work and eventually he met Marguerite Thompson, whom he married in 1954. They recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Mr Coyle worked at Aveling Barford before becoming a publican at The Royal Oak, and later at The Springfield Arms. He enjoyed horse racing, and he was a fan of Celtic Football Club.
Canon Anthony Dolan conducted the funeral service at St Mary’s RC Church, North Parade, Grantham. Burial followed in Barkston cemetery.
