Mrs Jane Margaret Buttigieg, of Northcliffe Road, Grantham, has died in Grantham Hospital. She was 70.

Born in Grantham, she was a devoted wife, mum, nanna, mother-in-law and great niece.

In 1960 she married Alf, who was serving in the Royal Navy. They were stationed in Malta from 1962 to 1964 and their daughter, Debbie was born there.

Mrs Buttigieg also leaves a granddaughter, Jade.

She enjoyed travelling and from 1967 until her death sheenjoyed holidays, visiting her second family in Malta. Her other interests were sewing, cooking and walking and she loved spending time with her family.

Peter Linley conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.

Donations received for St Barnabas Hospice, Grantham and the British Lung Foundation amount to £500 to date. Her granddaughter, Jade is also taking part in the Great North Run in September in aid of The BLF.
