Mrs Jeanette Barbara Freestone, of Manor Drive, Great Gonerby, has died in Grantham Hospital. She was 72.
Born in Edmonton, North London in December 1941, she was the daughter of Cyril and Hilda Hall and sister of Yvonne, Graham and Nigel. The family moved to Grantham in 1948.
In 1969 she married Aubrey Freestone. He predeceased her in 1998.
During her working life Mrs Freestone had worked at a laundry on Belton Lane, and had been a domestic at Grantham Hospital.
She was a keen Methodist and attended the Salvation Army regularly. She was also a member of Grantham Mind, Compass Day Care and Age Concern UK.
The Rev Lesley Taylor conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.
