Obituary: Mrs Joy Finbow

Mrs Joy Finbow, of Kenilworth Road, Grantham, has died in Grantham Hospital. She was 80.

Born in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Hannah Hinman. She had two siblings, Tony and Marilyn.

She leaves her husband Raymond and stepchildren Kevin and Raymond Neil Finbow. Her son, Alan Young had predeceased her.

Mrs Finbow had three grandchildren, Andrew, Leanne and Darren and four great-grandchildren, Cobie, Oliver, Jenson and Dylan.

She had worked in various jobs around Grantham, but her final employment before retirement was at Grosvenor Furniture.

Her interests included holidays abroad, dressmaking, baking, caravan holidays and cruises.

Robert Holland conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.

Family mourners included: Raymond Finbow, Kevin Finbow, Raymond Neil Finbow, Andrew Young, Marie Young, Joan Finbow and Liz Windsor.

Fisher, Ann and Peter Hoyes, Kath Kilby, John Kilby, Sandra Thorpe, Eric Thorpe, Yvonne Finbow, Mrs Herbert, and Mr T. Gooch.

Funeral arrangements were by Robert Holland, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham.

Donations were received for the British Heart Foundation.
