Mrs Lily Turner, of Stuart Street, Grantham, has died in Newton House Nursing Home, Grantham. She was 90.
Born in Grantham, she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose Henson. She has a sister, Dorothy.
In 1953 she married Arthur Turner and they have a daughter, Lynda, two grandsons, Martyn and Matthew and a great-granddaughter, Alexandria Lily.
During the Second World War she worked at the post office. She had also worked at Stern Austin greengrocers, and in the office at Ruston and Hornsby. Mrs Turner enjoyed sewing, music, spending time with her family and travelling to France and Belgium.
The Rev Nicky Marshall conducted the funeral service at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.
