Mrs Pamela Bools, of High Road, Barrowby, has died in Newton House Nursing Home, Barrowby Road, Grantham. She was 83.
Born in Grantham, she was the only daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel Rudd.
She was the wife of Fred Bools, mother of Christopher and Jane and granny to Amy, Ned, Emily, Anna and Olivia.
Mrs Bools had worked as a secretary at Aveling Barford. For many years she was business proprietor of Rudd, Vale and Co. She eventually retuned to selling antiques and curios from a shop in Westgate.
Mrs Bools was a keen tennis player and a member of Grantham Tennis Club. She was an aspiring golfer, an active member of Grantham Bridge Club (before her illness), and a keen and expert needlewoman.
The Rev Chris Boland conducted the funeral service at St Wulfram’s Church, Grantham. Cremation followed at Grantham Crematorium Chapel.
