Oil tank spill after attempted theft

Thieves have caused an oil spill after damaging a heating fuel tank in a village near Sleaford.

The thieves have left a large gash in the heating oil tank after attempting to steal the fuel inside, causing a large amount to spill onto the ground at Folkingham Road in Pickworth.

PCSO Barbara Mooney of Grantham Rural North Policing Team said: “If you have any information on the incident contact 101 quoting the incident number 394 of 13/07/15.
