Only UKIP candidate to win a seat on South Kesteven District Council represents Grantham’s Earlesfield ward


The first and only UKIP candidate voted into South Kesteven District Council will represent a Grantham ward.

Felicity Cunningham was chosen by the electorate of the Grantham Earlesfield Ward, taking 903 votes. She will represent the ward alongside Labour’s Tracey Forman, who gained 814 votes.

Ms Cunningham told the Journal: “I’m gobsmacked.”
