McDonald's restaurant on the A1 at Colsterworth set to open tomorrow
A new McDonald’s restaurant is set to open, creating 90 jobs.
We revealed in January that planning permission had been granted to build the new restaurant, which includes a drive thru on the A1 southbound, at Colsterworth.
The opening is set to create 90 jobs and follows significant local investment from franchisee Martin Cuthbert, who also runs the Grantham restaurant in Bridge End Road.
The restaurant, which will open its doors at 10.30am tomorrow (Wednesday, October 30), will boast all of McDonald’s latest innovations, making it a fantastic place for customers and staff alike, with digital features including self-order kiosks, table service, digital drive thru signage and the ‘click and collect’ service via the My McDonald’s app.
McDonald’s franchisee Martin Cuthbert started his career with McDonald’s 25 years ago. With the opening of the Colsterworth restaurant, Martin now owns and operates 11 restaurants in his local areas employing over 1,300 people.
He said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing a brand-new restaurant to Colsterworth. It’s fantastic to be able to offer more jobs within the local area with great training opportunities for everyone.
