A Gonerby Hill Foot resident is appealing for help to find his bike which was stolen from his garage last week.

Matthew Pratt is determined to find his Trek 7200 Hybrid bike which was taken from his garage on Broomwood Close, off Hazelwood Drive, Gonerby Hill Foot between Wednesday, June 10 and the afternoon on Saturday, June 13.

The bike looks exactly like the one pictured, minus the handlebar extensions, and may also have a coiled black lock around the top beam.

Mr Pratt said: “This appears to be an opportunistic theft as nothing else was taken, but it has left my family feeling disappointed and saddened that this has happened in what can only be considered a quiet, respectable cul-de-sac where people look out for each other.

He added: “If you get offered a cheap bike at a ridiculously low price, please message me or ring Lincolnshire Police. It’s probably long gone but I just don’t like giving up on stuff like this.”

If you can help contact Matthew by calling 07469 416820 or emailing djursus@hotmail.com
