A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital following a collision involving three cars at the entrance to Belton Garden Centre on the A607.

The accident happened at about 3.30pm on Saturday and involved a Volvo V40, an Audi A4 and a Hyundai 140.

The injured woman, from Nottingham, was a passenger in the Volvo. She was taken to the Queen’s medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Two other people sustained minor injuries.

The road was closed while the cars were recovered and injuries assessed. It was reopened just before 6.30pm.

If anybody witnessed the accident they should call Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 220 of May 14.
