Live music sounded out across Allington this weekend when the village put on its first-ever ‘On the Green’ festival.

A brand new event, ‘On The Green’ featured a two-day beer festival and live music.

It began on Friday with music by Dave Adey and rockabilly band Relentless in the courtyard at the rear of the Welby Arms pub in the village.

On Saturday, villagers and visitors were treated to almost 12 hours of music, featuring Daniel Duke, who starred on The Voice, Lauren April, Cover2Cover and The Most Ugly Child.

And on Sunday, a classic car show was held on the village green.

There was further entertainment over the weekend with performances by Allington Morris and The Gloria Sunset Duo.
