AN inquiry into the decision to reject plans for a 1,000 home development north of Grantham is due to conclude next week.
South Kesteven District Council planners rejected the original proposal by Larkfleet Homes by the developers appealed to the Planning Inspectorate in the hope of overturning the decision.
The planning inquiry opened on Wednesday, November 2, and is timetabled to conclude on Tuesday. The inquiry is open to the public and are held in the Ballroom at the Guildhall.
Both sides - the district council and the developers - have spent the past week arguing about the impact of the development on traffic, local heritage and other areas.
The final decision is unlikely to be reached for some weeks.
