Emma Francis has been in touch in the hope that readers can help find her mother’s missing cat.

Emma said: “Since Christmas we have been sharing with people on Facebook and other areas of Stoke Rochford about our missing cat.

“My mum had a car accident southbound on the A1 at Stoke Rochford on Christmas morning, where the car rolled down a ditch. Thankfully she is recovering well, but as well as all our Christmas gifts our beloved cat Phoebe was lost in the crash too and escaped from the wreckage. We are desperate to know that she is ok; we have even had volunteers searching the area.

“Please could you keep your eyes peeled for a brown and ginger with black tabby cat with a blue/grey collar and with a name tag and my mum’s mobile number on the back. She must be very scared and cold.

“There have been some possible sightings. We would be forever in your debt and I know it would help my mum with her recovery knowing she is safe.”
