Requests for places at the Festival of Excitement are already coming in, {http://www.granthamjournal.co.uk/news/local/festival-of-excitement-announced-by-the-grantham-journal-children-s-fund-1-7455692|following its launch in last week’s Journal.}

The event – to be held at the Prince William of Gloucester Barracks on Saturday, August 20 – is being organised by the Grantham Journal Children’s Fund.

It will feature rally car experiences, fairground rides, inflatables, sensory spaces, dance performances, soft play and more, plus toilet facilities with full disabled access, a tea tent and food stalls. All activities and facilities are being organised with the needs of disabled youngsters in mind. Entry, activities and food will be free of charge.

Families and disability support groups are asked to request forms and further information by emailing summersizzler@granthamjournal.co.uk

Places are limited, early form requests are advised.
