Police appeal for witnesses after teenager suffers head injury in Grantham road accident

A 16-year-old boy suffered a head injury when he was in collision with a vehicle on London Road in Grantham yesterday (Sunday).

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened just after 2pm and involved a Vauxhall Zafira. The teenager was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. The police say his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The county air ambulance also attended the scene.

Anybody with information on the incident should call the police on 101, quoting incident number 228 of June 28.
