The search continues today (Christmas Day) for a pensioner missing in Grantham since Tuesday.

Police have issued a fresh appeal to people living in the area surrounding Grantham Hospital to check their outbuildings and sheds.

Jack Foster, also known as Derek Foster, left Grantham Hospital on Tuesday at around 11am after receiving treatment for a broken left shoulder.

The 83-year-old was due to be taken to his home in Long Bennington by taxi but has not been seen since he left hospital.

He has very limited mobility and shuffles rather than walks. He was not using a walking stick when he left hospital.

Ground searches will continue today. People living in the north of Grantham are asked to check their outbuildings and sheds for any sign that Jack might have been there.

Please call 101 with any information.
