Police appeal after girl approached by man in Great Ponton

Police are appealing for information after a young girl was approached by a man.

On Wednesday, June 26, the young girl was walking to school when she was approached by a man near the footbridge (northbound) off Heath Lane, Great Ponton, which caused her to be frightened and upset.

The male is described as being around 60 years old with a beard.

It is possible that the man may have been in the service station shop prior to the incident but police believe that he may well have crossed the footbridge back to the main village area.
