Police searching for Grantham student respond to reports of body in river

Durham Police say they are responding to reports of a body having been found in the River Wear in the city.

Former Grantham King’s School student Euan Coulthard, 19, went missing on Wednesday last week after a night out in the city and was last seen near the river.

Police have been searching the river and friends and fellow students of Euan have been helping in the search.

Durham Police has tweeted: “Police responding to reports of a body in the river Wear in Durham City. Marine units will be attending. A body is yet to be recovered.”
