Police seek lorry driver who smashed car window in collision but failed to stop


Lincolnshire Police have received a report of a hit and run collision this morning involving a car and a lorry.

PCSO Nicole Page of Sleaford Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “This occurred at approximately 7.15am this morning (October 16) on the A52 at Swaton.

“A lorry has hit the side of a car travelling in the opposite direction, causing the window to smash and continued without stopping. The driver believed that there was a silver vehicle travelling behind him at the time.”

If you were a witness to this incident you are asked to call 101 and quote incident number 43 of 16/10/15.
