Policing commander to hold public meeting in Vale of Belvoir

Vale of Belvoir residents may question the area’s neighbourhood policing commander at a public meeting next month.

Neighbourhood policing area commander, Inspector Lou Cordiner, will answer questions about policing and community issues at the meeting in Waltham Village Hall, Goadby Road, Waltham on the Wolds.

The event, on Wednesday, April 8, is the first in a series of public engagement events across the Eastern Counties Neighbourhood Policing Area.

Inspector Cordiner said: “This is a great opportunity for residents to come along and ask me any questions they have about policing in their local area.

“I aim to be as honest as possible when answering questions and would really like to get a good idea of the general feeling towards the police in the area and Leicestershire and Rutland in general.”

The session will run from 6.30pm until 8pm, with light refreshments and the opportunity to network at 6pm.

It will start with an introduction from Inspector Cordiner and will lead into a question and answer session for members of the public.
