Barrowby villagers ask South Kesteven District Council to ‘press pause’ on major and contentious planning applications
A call has sounded to “press the pause button” on major and contentious planning applications until measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus have eased.
The chairmen of committees responsible for shaping future development in Barrowby are calling on the local planning authority to halt such applications to give communities the chance to discuss them and make representations.
It comes as a developer is seeking approval for layout, appearance and scale details for a contentious application for 49 properties off Low Road in the village.
