Priory Ruskin Academy provided Christmas joy

Have your say

I AM writing on behalf of the Wednesday Walkers, who use the Priory Ruskin Academy as a start and finish point each week.

We would like to thank the Priory Ruskin staff and pupils for the fantastic Christmas evening which we all attended on Thursday, December 8. We were welcomed by some wonderful Year 8 children who were all polite, considerate and so generous with their time.

We were then entertained with carols from the choir and we were able to buy crafts that had been made at the academy.

Following this was a superb Christmas dinner, served by those lovely Y8 children and cooked by the school cook. After the meal we were entertained by Mr Martini, a member of staff, whose singing style could be likened to Mr Sinatra.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would like to express our thanks and joy at having such a wonderful evening.
