Grantham railway staff praised for saving teenager who contemplated suicide




Members of staff at Grantham railway station have been praised for their quick thinking in saving a teenager who was contemplating suicide.

The vulnerable 19-year-old man was seen by a member of LNER staff, Hollie Wilson, standing on the yellow line close to the edge of platform 2. She quickly went over to speak to him and took him to safety.

Miss Wilsonstayed with the man for an hour before taking him to an office at the station, where her colleague Glen Stewart looked after him.
