It is very rare that you get to see snapshots of Grantham from the skies, so we are grateful to Ged McKnight for sharing this picture with Journal readers.

Ged, owner of Fellows cafe in Westgate, took the picture at around 2pm on Sunday, while flying over Grantham at 1,500ft.

It shows the remains of the former Journal building in Greenwoods Row. Bought by Grantham Estates, the land is destined to become a car park.
