Grantham resident brands 'diabolical' potholes as the 'worst he has ever seen'
A Grantham resident has criticised the state of a road in the town that currently has multiple potholes.
Paul Jones described the potholes on Park Road in Grantham as “absolutely diabolical” and “shameful”.
The street, which connects Castlegate and Wyndham Park bridge, is used by cars, cyclists and walkers.
Paul said: “I’ve driven in many countries over the years and [Park Road] is by far the worst I’ve ever seen [for potholes].
“I’ve never experienced anything like it. It’s been like it for months."
Having recently holidayed in Norfolk, Paul was impressed with the condition of the county's roads, as they were "resurfaced regularly and correctly", with hopes that something similar could be employed in Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire County Council confirmed that, as the potholes had been marked up, work to repair them will have been scheduled.
