Corby Glen retired firefighter Brian Walsingham celebrated his 70th birthday with a meal at The Woodhouse Arms in Corby Glen on Monday.

Brian retired two years ago. He was joined at the meal by David Porter, who retired 20 years ago, after serving 33 years as a sub officer. They clocked up 83 years’ service between them.
