Organisers of the Rotary Swimarathon in Grantham are urging teams to take part in next year’s big splash.

The town’s biggest fund-raising event will take place on from February 6 to 8 and organiser the Rotary Club of Grantham is hoping for another successful year.

President Mos Kalbassi said: “This event is all about the community. It is organised locally, the participants are local and the funds raised all go back to supporting local charities and deserving causes so we really hope people will join us once again for this fantastic event”

Team entry co-ordinator Roger Graves said this year there are spaces for 250 teams and so far 216 have registered. Roger said: “We would love to have a complete sell out and are always looking for new teams from schools, organisations and local businesses.”

To register and book a lane go to http://www.rotaryswimarathon.org/, register as a user and then book a lane. For further information contact on 07454 941349.

At the present, there are lanes free on all three days.
