SAMANTHA Maxwell, daughter of David and June Mees, of Sherburn-in-Elmet, near Leeds, Yorkshire, and Christopher Bailey, son of Leslie and Maureen Bailey, of Grantham, were married at The Angel and Royal Hotel, Grantham.
The ceremony was conducted by Julie Waller.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a pearl ivory, strapless. all over delicate lace dress adorned with pearls, sequins and crystals, with a matching bag. She carried ivory avalanche roses with purple lisianthus, veronica and tenga venga roses.
Bridesmaids were Selina Farmer, Diane Andrews, Emily Maxwell-Mees and Sophie Bailey. Selina and Diane wore Cadbury purple halter-neck dresses, Emily wore a pearl ivory bodice, ballerina-length tulle skirt, wired in fuchsia and Sophie wore an ivory dress to match the bride’s. They all wore matching headdresses.
Best man was David Farmer.
Ring bearer was Ben Farmer, bridegroom’s godson. Witnesses were Selina Farmer, David Farmer, Gary Bailey and Peter Govan.
A reception was held at The Angel and Royal Hotel, Grantham. A honeymoon will be taken at a later date.
The couple will live in Grantham.
Samantha is a housewife who enjoys reading, walking, going to the gym and spending time with friends. Christopher is an engineer and his he enjoys walking, reading and dining out.
