Have your say

BUDDING young performers hoping for the chance to take to the stage in front of big audiences at Grantham Guildhall are being invited to take part in auditions next week.

Following the success of the pantomime Cinderella at the Guildhall Arts Centre last December, Polka Dot Pantomimes are once again looking for children in the area to take part in this year’s festive show, Sleeping Beauty.

Between 18 and 24 young people are needed to form teams who will play alternate days during the run.

They will perform alongside professional actors in the show, which will feature dazzling costumes and fabulous scenery.

This year the Spalding-based company are looking for an all singing, all dancing chorus of boys and girls aged between eight and 18.

No previous dance, acting or singing experience is required.

This year chorus members will have the opportunity to also perform at Stamford Arts Centre as the production will transfer there between Tuesday and Sunday, January 8 to 13.

Auditions for this year’s pantomime take place on Saturday, June 23 at the Guildhall Arts Centre from 2pm - 4pm.
