Second church lead theft from a village near Grantham

Lead has been stolen from a second church in the Grantham area.

A quantity of lead was stripped from the church in Muston, off the A52, sometime on Thursday night. The theft was noticed and reported by a villager.

Earlier today, the Journal reported a similar theft from the church in Westborough.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the Muston area on Thursday is asked to call police on the non-emergency 101 number.
