Shame on those not paying their respects

Have your say

I find it a great pity that the LCC workers replacing the road surface on Guildhall Street could not take out two minutes of their day, to observe the two minutes’ silence for Armistice Day in remembrance of those fallen in the name of this country.

At 11am the buildings on Guildhall Street shook to the reverberation of the road planer and to the HGV vehicles with their engines running, sitting waiting to be filled. Shame on them and on LCC.
