The second annual sponsored yogathon was held at Grantham’s St Barnabas Hospice on Saturday.
More than 30 people from across the county took part in the three-hour outdoor challenge, and enjoyed the late summer sun.
Community events fund-raiser Janie McCormick said: “A great day was had by all, and our thanks go to local yoga teachers Stefan Cunnington and Kim Lowerey, who made this event possible by giving up their time and expertise. Huge thanks also go to local therapist Marilyn Cattell and Julie Payne from Newark, who came along and offered free mini massage treatments to those taking part. The event finished up with a well deserved curry lunch kindly provided by Saagar in Grantham.”
The final figure raised is not yet known, although it is expected the event raised in the region of £1,500.
