Slideshow: Grantham air cadets celebrate national award




Grantham air cadets have won a national award for their fund-raising.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Grantham, Ian Selby and Anita Selby, held a reception in honour of 47(F) Squadron Grantham Air Training Corps in the Parlour in the Guildhall on Friday.

47(F) received the Squadron of the Year award from the RAF Benevolent Fund in London. The cadets have raised thousands of pounds for the benevolent fund and beat hundreds of other ATC squadrons around the country to win the award.
