SLIDESHOW: Grantham’s first Green and Country Fayre in Wyndham Park

Today saw a host of eco-conscious groups, businesses and individuals gather at Wyndham Park for Grantham’s first ever Green and Country Fayre.

As well as exploring the park itself, visitors were able to take part in a range of green activities, browse local craft stalls, meet local heritage groups and enjoy the music and entertainment.

Organised by members of Conserving Grantham and Grantham’s Green Flag Wyndham Park Forum, the event was to highlight the importance of protecting our local heritage and environment, and to present the work of groups in the area already doing their bit to keep Grantham green.

Grantham Rivercare, the Grantham Canal Society and the Nottingham Building Society were among those there providing information on their conservation projects.
