Slideshow: St George on the Green and annual scout parade draw families to Grantham town centre

Grantham celebrated the patron saint of England yesterday (Sunday) at the annual St George on the Green and scout parade.

The family fun day kicked off at 10am, with live music, children’s rides and activities, stalls and dancing.

Then in the afternoon, hundreds of scouts took part in the annual parade through the town centre, joined by civic dignitaries.
