Soldiers who fought for their country during the First World War will be remembered during the annual Remembrance parade through Grantham.

Roads will close (Wharf Road, St Peter’s Hill, High Street, Vine Street and Swinegate) during the parade, which will leave the bus station at 10.20am on Remembrance Sunday (November 9), led by the RAF Waddington Pipe Band.

They will march to St Wulfram’s Church where a service will take place and wreaths laid at the war memorial in the churchyard.

The parade back through town will begin at around 12.30pm. Families are invited to line the streets to pay their respects to those killed during conflicts.
