Some Grantham area primary schools reopen while others deem it too risky

Schools across Grantham reopened to some year groups today (Monday), while others have decided the move is too risky.

Headteachers were allowed by the government to make their own decisions on whether to have children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 back into classrooms from today, as part of the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Among those to have stayed shut are Harrowby Infant School, Little Gonerby School and National Junior School.
