Spend for the now, not for the future

Have your say

When they say they are short of money why do councils spend money on things that do not benefit residents now.

They have spent money on a useless object that doesn’t benefit anyone, wither they like it or not.

They are spending millions on plans for what they want the place to look like in twenty years’ time.

They spend money on plans for new roads that are for years away, instead of spending it on roads that need repairing now.

When they do repair a road, they do some patches, then move to another road when there are more patches along the same road and then come back again later.

When families are short of money they are told to spend on essentials and wait for other things until they have some spare cash.
