Stagger Inn pub in Grantham to be refurbished

The Stagger Inn pub on London Road will close for almost three weeks from July 1 for refurbishment work.

Landlady Lesley Green said there will be a full refurbishment of the pub inside and out to include the beer garden.

Lesley, who has been at the pub for 15 years, confirmed that it will also have a change of name to The Reindeer Inn. The pub used to be called The

Red Oak Taverns, which owns the pub, wants to modernise it by taking out the lounge bar to make the lounge area bigger and

provide more seating.

All the furniture will be refurbished and new toilets will be put in.

Lesley said the new-look pub will be modern but with e retro feel to it.

She said there will be a relaunch night on Friday, July 19, when food and music will be provided.
