Witches, wizards and muggles alike are invited to join in the ‘ridikkulusly’ good fun at their local library this February as part of Harry Potter Book Night 2016.

From February 4 to 6, libraries across the county will be celebrating all things Harry Potter, where fans of all ages can relive the magic of J.K Rowling’s novels and pass the magic on to young readers who are yet to discover the wizarding world.

Visitors to the libraries can get involved in quizzes, games and crafts all based on the popular series of books and novels, including visiting platform 9¾ and creating Polyjuice potion!

There will also be prizes for the best Harry Potter themed costume, so get your wands at the ready!

The Potter-themed party is being held at Grantham Library on Saturday, February 6 from 1pm to 3pm.

Louise Woolley, site co-ordinator, Lincoln Central Library, said: “For one night only, the libraries will become Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, celebrating Harry Potter.

“This year’s event is going to be bigger and better than ever with fun activities for everyone to enjoy so don’t miss out!”
