Reports are coming in of further flooding following this afternoon’s storm.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say they have received several calls to minor flooding incidents in Grantham.

However after inspection many of these have just resulted in advice being given to occupants.

Some residents previously hit have seen water building up outside their homes again, including Lisa and James Tereszczak on Albert Street, Grantham.

The storm saw many lightning strikes in the area, and comes after a tornado hit Northampton this afternoon.

Flooding has also become an issue once again in Long Bennington. It follows a special report published in the Journal last week about the village’s severe drainage problems.
