The Year 2 graphic design students completed the design work for the Grantham Museum Rock ‘n’ Roll exhibition, says Dave Thomas, graphics tutor at Grantham College.

The exhibition charts the rise in popularity of rock ‘n’ roll in Grantham and features some big names that visited Grantham.

The opening panel and the style of the exhibition was designed by second year student Bethany Arnold. The rest of the students designed individual panels that followed the style and helped to put up the exhibition.

This is the latest exhibition that my students have completed for the museum, and it provides the students with a real life project and helps them deal with clients.

We are looking forward to the next challenge to be given to us by Nick Jones at the museum.

If you’d like to be involved with projects like this and start a career in Graphic Design, apply today and start in September.

Come along to our next open evening or view all our courses online at www.grantham.ac.uk

The museum is open from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Entry is free.
