Surface water warning from police for Lincolnshire roads

Lincolnshire Police warn about surface water.
Lincolnshire Police warn about surface water.

Ahead of rush hour, and as drivers head home for the evening, police are warning about surface water on roads across the county.

Given the amount of rain, this is currently a particular problem in the county.

Police are warning drivers to take extra care, slow down and be wary of any excess water on the roads. This can cause vehicles to skid or lose control and can lead to collisions.
