Talented Grantham youngsters perform The Greatest Showman at theatre camp

Talented youngsters in Grantham have been showing off their drama skills at a holiday theatre camp.

More than 70 children attended the five-day workshop at the Guildhall Arts Centre last week, which was hosted by New Youth Theatre.

Youngsters were able to learn songs, dance routines and acting skills. They finished the week off with a performance of The Greatest Showman in front of their families.

Yvette Kimber, who runs the New Youth Theatre, said: “Holiday camps have been running throughout the summer all over Lincolnshire including in Grantham, Sleaford, Lincoln and Newark. Not only does it help bring on talent but also oodles of confidence.

This year’s summer camp in Grantham was a great success with every child singing, dancing and acting their hearts out. They loved it so much we actually performed the show twice.”
