PALS Andy Bond and James Cossins have known each other since their school days, and now the Bottesford pair are now hanging out in New Zealand.
Andy emigrated with his family half-way across the world to Auckland seven years ago, and was pleased when his childhood pal James stopped off in the city during his travels.
James’ proud mum Anne, of Lime Grove, Bottesford, travelled to New Zealand earlier this month to visit her son.
She said: “James recently celebrated his 21st birthday, and I went over to Auckland to visit him in November. He has been away from home for some 15-16 months, having spent a year working and travelling around Australia. He then moved on to New Zealand in August, and plans to continue his travels.
“It was absolutely wonderful to see him again after so long.”
