THE Grantham Journal Question Time event proved that people really do care about the future prospects of this town.
Scores of people made the effort to turn up at Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School to take the opportunity to put councillors, planners and Grantham’s Member of Parliament under the spotlight.
And you still have a chance to make yourself heard at the highest level. Next week, the Journal has an appointment at Number 10 Downing Street.
Around 40,000 people live in Grantham: so far just over 200 people have signed the Journal’s letter to Prime Minister David Cameron, which asks that his Government act quickly to provide an injection of life into our town.
We need more people to sign up to our campaign. In the Journal’s office in High Street, there are copies of the letter for you to sign.
You can also print off the form from our website. Quite simply, the more people get behind the call to arms, the more chance there is of Grantham’s plight being heard, acknowledged and tackled at the very highest level. It’s your town, so don’t miss your chance to speak up for it - you might not get another!
