Home and garden retailer The Range has confirmed that its store at the Gonerby Road retail park will open in early 2016.

Senior marketing executive, Sam Morton, explained that due to issues over gaining access to the site, refurbishment of the premises had been delayed since planning permission was granted last May.

The store will be created in warehouse units which have remained vacant since Land of Leather left in 2009 and Carpetright in November 2011.

The Range expects to employ up to 100 staff at the Grantham store, and will be advertising roles through the local job centre at the end of this year.
