That’s certainly what families from Grantham Disabled Children’s Society found when they were treated to a sensory experience inside a giant indoor snowglobe at Downtown on Tuesday.

Micky Stokes of GDCS said: “It was amazing. There was about 30 of us and we all really enjoyed it. We want to say a big thank you to Downtown - we suggested the idea to them and then they went ahead and organised it for us.”

The charity which supports disabled children and their families in the area, has lots more events planned for this month, including a trip to Drayton Manor and a Christmas party. “It’s going to be a magical Christmas for the children,” added Micky.
